Crystal: What reading material would you suggest for someone who knows absolutely nothing about investing in stocks, but wants to start with a solid foundation of understanding?

1. Book: Carl Richards uses drawings to explain different money topics. His focus is on the emotional side of making decisions about money.

2. Website: The Financial Planning Standards Council of Canada has recently released a website called Financial Planning for Canadians (http://www.financialplanningforcanadians.ca). The video portion of this website is a great place to visit before making any investment decisions. It will help you understand the financial planning process and where investment decisions fit into the “big picture”.
